IndiGo cancels 112 flights at Mumbai airport, passengers face hassles

IndiGo had a rough Sunday at Mumbai airport, canceling 112 flights—one of the highest disruption rates after Hyderabad.
Even with all the chaos, they managed to bump their on-time performance up to 75%, compared to just 30% the day before.
The airline is on track to operate more than 1,650 flights Sunday, up from around 1,500 a day earlier.

Travelers dealt with long waits and baggage headaches—like Anand Parmar, whose Chennai flight was canceled after check-in and who then struggled to find his luggage.
IndiGo sent out early cancelation alerts and is working through refunds and missing bag claims.
The airline says it hopes to get things back on track by December 10 as staff work through the backlog.
