J-K: Pakistani national arrested, identified as terrorist guide
The Indian Army has arrested Mohammed Arif, a Pakistani national from PoK, for helping four Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists try to sneak into India near the Poonch-Rajouri border.
While Arif was caught at the Hajura post, the four others managed to escape back across the border by jumping off a steep cliff, but were injured in the process.
Interrogation reveals details about infiltration routes and terror networks
Arif was found with Pakistani currency and a mobile phone. During questioning, he admitted he was guiding the group on orders from the Pakistani Army.
The Indian Army held fire because of nearby Pakistani posts and is now interrogating Arif for details about infiltration routes and terror networks.
His arrest highlights how alert troops are along the LoC, and drone footage confirmed that those who escaped were hurt during their getaway.
