Jagan Reddy granted court relief in convoy death case

The Andhra Pradesh High Court has given former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy some interim relief after a tragic incident at his political rally.
A supporter, C Singayya, 53, was killed when he was hit by a vehicle from Reddy's convoy in Guntur, specifically at Satanapalle in Palanadu district.
The court pointed out that accidents can happen even with precautions—referencing big events like the Kumbh Mela.

TL;DR

FIR filed against Reddy for culpable homicide

After the June 18 incident, police filed an FIR against Reddy and his party members for culpable homicide and negligence.
Reddy called these charges politically motivated, saying they're meant to distract from other issues.
Meanwhile, rival parties are trading blame over what really happened—YSRCP says Singayya died near the convoy, while TDP claims he was run over—which has only added to political tensions in Andhra Pradesh.
