Heads up, Delhi! The 47th Rath Yatra (Car Festival) of Lord Jagannath is rolling through Hauz Khas on Friday, 27th June 2025, from 02:00pm to 06:00pm.
Expect serious traffic restrictions—especially on Aurobindo Marg between IIT Flyover and AIIMS Loop—as the city gears up for big crowds and processions.
Key routes to take
If you're heading from MG Road or Mehrauli toward New Delhi, take Outer Ring Road, Panchsheel Flyover, August Kranti Marg, or Africa Avenue Road.
Coming the other way? Use Ring Road and turn right at Andrews Ganj Flyover for August Kranti Marg.
Just a heads-up: these routes will be extra busy, so plan for delays.

Try to steer clear of affected roads if you can—especially if you're catching a flight or train.
