Jharkhand woman allegedly poisons husband 36 days post-wedding

India

In Garhwa, Jharkhand, a 22-year-old woman named Sunita has been accused of murdering her husband Budhnath Singh by poisoning his food only 36 days after they got married.
Budhnath was found dead on June 16 when he didn't wake up, and his mother filed a police complaint against Sunita for homicide.

Sunita asked Budhnath to buy pesticide for farming

The couple reportedly had issues from the start—Sunita even left for her parents' home soon after the wedding.
A panchayat tried to help them sort things out on June 5, but things didn't improve.
On June 14, Sunita allegedly asked Budhnath to buy pesticide "for farming," then used it to poison him the following night.
She's now in judicial custody as police investigate how the pesticide was bought and used.
Budhnath's body is undergoing post-mortem examination while authorities look into this troubling case.
