Karnataka cold wave: Bidar shivers at 9.5°C, coldest in the state

India

Karnataka just got a serious winter vibe—Bidar recorded the state's lowest minimum temperature at 9.5°C on Monday, the lowest temperature recorded in the state this season.
Northern districts saw a marked fall of more than 4°C at isolated locations, making it feel much colder than usual.

What else to know:

Coastal and northern areas like Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur, and Yadgir are also feeling the cold with minimums dipping by 2-4°C.
Light rain is expected around Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, but most northern parts will stay dry.
Bengaluru folks can expect misty mornings and daytime highs near 27-28°C.
Authorities are reminding everyone to bundle up and limit outdoor time to avoid health issues from the chill—so keep those hoodies handy!
Travel could get tricky too if visibility drops, so check updates before heading out.
