Kashmir is shivering through its chilliest November since 2007, with temperatures dropping well below freezing across the valley.
Srinagar hit -4.5°C on Thursday night—over four degrees colder than usual for this time of year.
Other spots like Konibal saw an icy -6°C, making it the coldest place in the region right now.

What's next for Kashmir's weather?

The weather department says things will stay mostly dry until December 10, but don't expect relief from the cold—nighttime temperatures are likely to dip even further.
