Kerala geologist Aneesh Mohan dies in Sikkim Teesta tunnel landslide

Aneesh Mohan, a 43-year-old geologist from Kerala, tragically lost his life after a landslide struck a tunnel at the Teesta Hydroelectric Project in Sikkim on July 20.

His body was found two days later and identified by his family, who had traveled to the site.

NHPC geologist's body to be repatriated

Mohan had been with NHPC for 16 years and was posted in Sikkim to check the tunnel's geological safety.

He is survived by his wife Dr. Sangeetha, their two children, parents, and brother.

After formalities, his body will be brought back to his hometown in Kerala for final rites.
