Kerala police have arrested Hassan Anas, a 25-year-old who is reportedly the personal assistant to a Rajya Sabha MP, according to some media reports, after investigations revealed his account was used in a cyber-financial crime.
Investigators say his bank account was used as a "mule account" to move ₹1.7 lakh through multiple transfers from Ghaziabad, and he withdrew the money using cheques and other methods.

Over 264 people have been arrested so far, with more than 383 cases filed.
