Kolkata student assaulted after panic attack

A 24-year-old law student in Kolkata says she was raped by three men, including a former student, inside her college after suffering a panic attack on Sunday night.
She says Monojit Mishra, the main accused, asked a co-accused to get her an inhaler, but she couldn't leave because the main gate was locked.

Incident raises questions about campus safety

The student alleges Mishra and two others, Zaib Ahmed and Pramit Mukhopadhyay, took her to another room where Mishra assaulted her while the others filmed it.
CCTV footage shows her being led into the room, and a local shop confirmed Zaib Ahmed bought an inhaler that night.
The case has sparked debate about campus safety—especially since Mishra is linked to the ruling party—and both political sides are calling for accountability.
