#JEE2019: What to do one day before JEE Main test?
  • The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is the most difficult engineering entrance exam for admission to top technical institutes. JEE comprises Main and Advanced exams.

JEE Main will be held twice from 2019 (January and April). JEE Main-II is scheduled to be conducted between 7-20 April.

JEE Main April 2019 is only days away and here are some tips for a day before the exam.

  • In this article
Start early, have a plan, allot time for every subject Do not study topics in detail, focus on revision #3: Go through formulae, theorems, reactions Do not learn anything new, focus on your strengths #5: Stay relaxed, don't burden yourself

Start early, have a plan, allot time for every subject
  • At the last minute, when there's only a day before the JEE Main, students must first create a schedule for revising each subject as per the difficulty level.

They should start preparing early in the morning so that they have sufficient time to cover all the subjects. They must also ensure that they have all the required material to avoid any last minute trouble.

Do not study topics in detail, focus on revision

Do not study topics in detail, focus on revision
  • Aspirants must thoroughly revise all the topics in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. However, they must concentrate more on important topics/concepts as per weightage.

Students might not have time to study topics in detail; at the last-minute, revision keys or self-prepared notes are useful for quick revision.

Students should not surround themselves with a lot of books; they should only go through important points.

  • Information

#3: Go through formulae, theorems, reactions

  • It is also important to go through or revise formulae, theorems, and reactions. If they have time, candidates can take quizzes/short mock tests to familiarize with the exam pattern. They should analyze their performance and try not to repeat any mistakes in the exam.

Do not learn anything new, focus on your strengths

Do not learn anything new, focus on your strengths
  • Also, many candidates make the mistake of learning new topics, reading some new topics, or referring to new books only a day before the JEE Main.

This should be avoided as it might lead to confusion and increase the stress and burden on students.

Instead, JEE aspirants should focus on what they know and their strengths and stay relaxed.

  • Information

#5: Stay relaxed, don't burden yourself

  • However, students must avoid studying continuously for long and take breaks a day before. They should eat healthy/light food and get sufficient sleep. They should go to bed early and wake up early on the exam day and do a quick revision only if possible.
