    What's the story

    Chartered Accountancy (CA) is one of the most in-demand professional programs in India.

    The three-level CA program, which consists of Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses, is offered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). It is a highly esteemed and well-respected profession.

    A small percentage of the country's chartered accountants have gone on to become prosperous business owners. Here are some.

    Radhe Shyam Agarwal is a CA who co-founded Emami

    Radhe Shyam Agarwal is one of the most famous entrepreneurs in the country. He is the Co-founder and Executive Chairman of the Emami Group.

    He is not only a Chartered Accountant from the ICAI but is also a Company Secretary from Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

    He graduated from Kolkata's St. Xavier's College and had also pursued LLB and MCom from Calcutta University.

    Nirmal Jain, the founder of India Infoline Group

    Nirmal Jain is a billionaire businessman in the country. He is the founder and Chairman of the India Infoline (IIFL) Group, a financial conglomerate based in Mumbai.

    He is a certified Chartered Accountant from the ICAI. He had pursued Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from Mumbai University's Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics and then did a PGDM from IIM Ahmedabad.

    CA Sonia Singal launched a recruitment portal for Chartered Accountants

    Sonia Singal, a Chartered Accountant herself from the ICAI, launched CA Job Portal (cajobportal.com) - India's first job recruitment portal exclusively dedicated for CAs - in 2013.

    She co-founded the CA recruitment portal along with her husband, Anurag. Sonia, who began her career as a Consultant at Deloitte, had pursued the CA program furring 2006-10 from ICAI.
