Bombay High Court grants bail to Aryan Khan and two others.

Arbaaz is Aryan's childhood friend. Total eight persons, out of 11, were apprehended based on a secret note. When we apprehended them, multiple drugs were found from them: NCB counsel ASG Anil Singh.
There is a case that the person might not have consumed the drug, but if he's in possession of it, he can be booked under NDPS Act. Arbaaz is his childhood friend. He had gone to Aryan’s house and both of them traveled from his house to the cruise terminal in the same car where they were intercepted. They were to stay in the same room had they boarded the cruise. Accused Aryan was found in conscious possession of contraband: NCB counsel ASG Anil Singh.
NCB's counsel ASG Anil Singh has said, "Applicant Aryan Khan is not a first-hand consumer. He is a regular consumer for the last 2 years as per records, the records which are relied upon. One is a secret note on the information on drugs regarding 11-12 persons going on a cruise. Out of 11, eight were apprehended. Voluntary panchanama, voluntary statement, mobile phone and WhatsApp chats on a digital device, these are records produced before the special court.”
Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi, Advocate Satish Maneshine and the team from Karanjawala & Co. have reached the court for today’s hearing. The hearing in Aryan Khan’s bail matter has started.
Mumbai Police has formed a five-member team to investigate the four complaints made against the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). A total of four complaints have been received against the NCB. Additional Commissioner of Police (south region) Dilip Sawant will reportedly oversee the probe along with DCP H Rajput. The probe will be conducted by ACP (Azad Maidan) Milind Khetle, inspector Ajay Sawant, API Srikant Karkar and PSI Prakash Gawli.
Sameer Wankhede’s sister Yasmeen Wankhede has filed a police complaint against Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik seeking the registration of an FIR for allegedly defaming her. Her two-page complaint submitted to the Oshiwara police states that the family was being targeted on social media. She has also written about Malik calling their family trip to the Maldives a “vasooli (extortion) trip.”
Aryan Khan’s bail hearing in the cruise drug bust case will continue before Bombay High Court today. The Narcotics Control Bureau will present its response to arguments from defense lawyers. Co-accused Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha’s bail pleas will also be heard today.

Kiran Gosavi, the self-styled detective who was cited as an “independent witness” by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the drugs-on-cruise case, has been nabbed by the Pune Police. The arrest is in connection with a 2018-cheating case. Gosavi had been missing ever since his selfie with Aryan Khan went viral.

Senior Advocate Mukul Rohtagi, appearing for Aryan Khan, has arrived in court. The court has started deliberating upon Aryan Khan's bail plea.
The hearing in Aryan Khan’s bail plea will resume today afternoon at 2:30 pm. Yesterday, Aryan Khan's counsel had argued that the cruise had invited customers, but Aryan had not bought a ticket and had been invited as a special guest. Further arguments stated that there was no recovery of drugs, or consumption, and he was wrongly arrested.
Eyewitness in the case, Prabhakar Sail, was questioned for over four hours by the NCB on Tuesday night. Sail had recently leveled extortion charges against zonal officer Sameer Wankhede and Kiran Gosavi. The police has reportedly started a preliminary inquiry into the matter.
NCP leader Nawab Malik has demanded an electronic probe in the Aryan Khan drug case. He said an electronic probe will help make things a lot clearer. Meanwhile, yesterday at Aryan Khan’s bail hearing, his counsel said that the ‘accused' were 'young boys' and 'should be sent to rehab.’
Mumbai NCB has summoned Prabhakar Sail, a witness in the drugs on cruise case, for questioning tomorrow. He will be questioned by NCB team reaching Mumbai from Delhi tomorrow, in connection with his allegations of corruption: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB)

NCB's Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede has returned to Mumbai and will continue to investigate the Aryan Khan drug case. Additionally, investigations into the corruption charges leveled against Wankhede will also begin soon. A vigilance team is expected to arrive in Mumbai soon for the same.
The day's proceedings at the Bombay High Court have ended. Aryan Khan did not get bail today and the arguments will continue tomorrow.
Mukul Rohatgi, appearing for Aryan Khan in the Bombay HC, argued, "When there is no recovery or consumption, then what evidence will I (Aryan Khan) tamper with? Keeping in view the age, the boy should be granted bail.”
Mukul Rohatgi, appearing for Aryan Khan, argued in court, "There is no question of conscious possession. Arbaaz is not my (Aryan's) servant, he is not in my control."
Rohatgi also referred to paragraph 7 of the Ragini Dwivedi judgment in which the Supreme Court had granted bail.
"I have a better case than all the citations that I am giving as there is no recovery from Aryan," he added.
