Concluding his speech with Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai, PM Modi said, “I want to thank 140 crore Indians. Want to thank all NDA members. I salute the Constitution of the country.”
PM Modi added, “We should all work for the country together, national interest first. Constitution is our guiding light, the framing of Constitution will complete 75-years. We will work with all State governments, irrespective of party, this is the time to work for a developed India. After six decades, Indian electorate has created history. After six decades, an alliance, the NDA alliance has got the opportunity to serve the country a third time.”
Outlining his plans for his impending third term, PM Modi said we will not stop till the defence sector becomes self reliant.
“We will strengthen the employment sector for the youth,” he said.
“If India wants to stride ahead, it will have to strike hard on corruption,” he added.
“Digital India has curbed corruption, but the fight is getting harder. When they cross limits of shamelessness to defend corruption, the thrust of third term of NDA government will be to end corruption,” PM Modi said.
The Prime Minsiter said that NDA has always worked to work for all sections of society.
”25 crore people were pulled out of poverty, this includes large number of SC, ST and OBC…Women led development is the centre of our policy. We will work to provide new opportunities for women,” he added.
The Prime Minsiter thanked the BJP workers for their sweat and hard work and said that this inspires him to work for the country.
“If you work ten hours, Modi will work 18 hours. You walk two steps, Modi will take four steps. We will all walk together, take the country forward. Country will write a new chapter of many big decisions in the third term, this is Modi’s guarantee,” he added.

On voting in Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “The voters of Jammu and Kashmir have shown unprecedented enthusiasm by voting in record numbers. They have also shown a mirror to those who try to defame the nation. I salute the people of this occasion of victory,”
Lauding the party’s performance, the Prime Minister said: “Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh... in many states, our party has seen a clean sweep. Ten years ago, the country voted for change. Woh samay tha, desh nirsasha ki dard mein doob chuka tha... newspaper headlines everyday spoke of scams. The youth were anxious about their future. We worked with integrity... and in 2019, the people of the country, once again, gave us their mandate.”
“Now for the third time, for the blessings that the NDA has received, I would like to bow down before the people of the country. Today is an emotional moment for me personally as well. This was my first election after I lost my mother,” PM Modi added.
In his address to the party workers, PM Narendra Modi said, “Where the Assembly elections took place, the NDA has won—in Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra, Odisha, Sikkim. In Kerala, the BJP has won a seat. Our workers in Kerala have sacrificed a lot... they have served for many generations, and their wait of many generations has now led to success.”

In his address, BJP President JP Nadda said, “On behalf of the BJP, I would like to thank our voters who blessed us. We know that the country has turned a corner after 2014. After 2014, a strong government came to power. Once again, we are seeing a historic moment, when PM Modi will become Prime Minister for the third time.”
As the results unfolded and the NDA remained poised to form the next government, BJP president JP Nadda, while addressing the party workers, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always led from the front... be it the country or the party. “I thank the NDA allies and the BJP workers who have worked hard for this win,” he added.

After registering a lead of over 30 seats in West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee held a press conference in Kalighat.
"These results have shown that Modi has lost all credibility and he should immediately resign," she said in the press conference.
"I am happy Modiji didn't get an absolute majority. He should immediately resign as he lost his credibility. Modi ji is now falling at the feet of TDP [Telugu Desam Party] and Nitish [Bihar Chief Minister Kumar]...," Banerjee added.
After the INDIA bloc's impressive performance in Uttar Pradesh, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said, "I am very happy... I want to tell the people of UP that they have shown a lot of discretion. I am most proud of UP."
The Congress’s Rahul Gandhi also praised the citizens of Uttar Pradesh.
“UP ki janta ne kamaal karke dikha diya...The people of UP understood the politics of the country and the danger to the Constitution, and they safeguarded the Constitution. I thank them for supporting Congress party and INDIA alliance," he said.
During his press conference, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi talking about the Amethi win said, “The BJP does not respect the people and they do not talk to the people properly. Kishori Lal Sharma has a great relationship with Amethi and it’s the people who have elected him. It’s disrespectful to say that he’s a PA. He has been working with the people all throughout.”
