India
Mohammed Shakeel, a 36-year-old telecom sales executive, was allegedly killed by his wife and her family during a discussion about a divorce settlement at his brother-in-law's apartment in Bengaluru on November 1.
Shakeel and his wife had been married for 12 years and have two sons.
Three suspects arrested, 2 at large
Police say the violence broke out after Shakeel's father pushed for a final settlement, leading to Raziya Sultan's brothers attacking Shakeel with helmets. He suffered fatal head injuries from the assault.
Three suspects—Zabiulla Khan, Imran Khan, and Fayaz Khan—have been arrested, while two others are still on the run.
The investigation is ongoing, focusing on the unresolved marital dispute that led to this tragedy.
