Man murders wife over social media obsession in Mangaluru

A tragic incident in Mangaluru's Hiliyana village saw 42-year-old Ganesh Poojary arrested for allegedly killing his wife, Rekha (27), after a fight about her watching social media reels.
The couple had argued about this before and even had to involve the police in the past.

Poojary attacked Rekha with machete

On Thursday night, Poojary came home late and got upset seeing Rekha on her phone.
Things escalated quickly, leading him to allegedly attack her with a machete.
Police have now charged him with murder under IPC Section 302.
