Man slits his 3 kids' throats over marital discord

In Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu, 38-year-old Vinoth Kumar allegedly murdered his three children—a 12-year-old girl, an 8-year-old girl, and a 5-year-old boy—by slashing their throats at home on Friday night.
The tragedy unfolded after Kumar's wife, Nithya, left him six months ago with another man.
He surrendered to police later that night.

Investigation underway

Police have registered a murder case against Kumar under Section 302 of the IPC.
Forensic teams are collecting evidence from the scene, and the children's bodies have been sent for autopsy.
