Meghalaya honeymoon murder: Shocking details emerge

During their honeymoon in Meghalaya, Raja Raghuvanshi was murdered in a plot involving his wife Sonam and her alleged boyfriend Raj Kushwaha. After three failed attempts to kill Raja in Guwahati and Sohra, they finally carried out the pre-planned murder at Weisawdong Falls. The motive wasn't money—police say it was a personal favor from Raj's friends to him.

How the plan unfolded

Sonam surrendered to police on June 8, while Raj and three others were arrested across Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Investigators revealed the group even considered faking Sonam's death by killing another woman. All suspects are now in custody as the investigation continues.
