MP: Drunk cop kills teacher, critically injures family

A heartbreaking accident in Madhya Pradesh's Neemuch district saw a drunk police officer, ASI Manoj Yadav, crash his vehicle into several motorcycles.
The collision killed 42-year-old teacher Dashrath and left his wife and two kids critically hurt.
Witnesses said Yadav was so intoxicated he could barely stand.

The family was heading home from shopping when the crash happened near Bharbhadia village.
Afterward, Yadav staggered out of the vehicle, and locals called for his arrest, sparking protests that blocked roads.
Police have now suspended Yadav, filed charges for rash driving and negligence, and confirmed he had alcohol in his car.
This incident follows other troubling cases involving police in the state recently.
