Mysuru restopub blaze kills 2 workers, victims Sahin and Prakash
India
A fire broke out at a restopub in Mysuru on Monday, leaving two workers dead and six people, mostly customers and the pub owner, injured.
The victims have been identified as 26-year-old Sahin from Darjeeling and 24-year-old Prakash from Nepal.
About 15 others had minor injuries but were brought to safety.
Short circuit suspected, probe ongoing
Officials think a short circuit started the blaze, which spread quickly because of wooden decor inside.
Rescue teams used ladders to help people escape, and the fire is now fully out.
Police and fire officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
