Newlywed and mother-in-law suspected in husband's murder
Just a month after his wedding, Tejeshwar—a land surveyor from Telangana—was killed near Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
Police have now arrested his wife Aishwarya and her mother for allegedly teaming up with a bank employee (who's still missing) to plan the murder.
TL;DR
How the murder was planned
Turns out, the case involves tangled relationships and suspected property disputes.
After their marriage, Tejeshwar noticed Aishwarya making over 2,000 calls to the banker, which made him suspicious.
Investigators say the banker hired people posing as clients to lure Tejeshwar into a fake land survey, where he was killed in a moving car.
Both women reportedly confessed during questioning. Police are still searching for the bank employee and others involved.
