One dead, 2 injured as Mercedes crashes into auto stand

Early Sunday morning near Ambience Mall in Delhi, a Mercedes G63 lost control at a road diversion and crashed into an auto stand.
The accident claimed the life of Rohit (23) and left two of his coworkers injured—all three worked at a restaurant inside the mall.

What happened next

Police responded quickly after getting a call at 2:33am.
The driver, Shivam (29) from Karol Bagh, was apprehended. He was reportedly driving back from a wedding with his wife and brother; the car actually belonged to his friend.
Legal action is underway as police continue their investigation.
