PM Modi to unveil world's tallest Ram statue in Goa

On November 27, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil a massive 77-foot bronze statue of Lord Ram at the historic Shree Samsthan Gokarn Jeevottam Mutt in Partagal village, South Goa.
Designed by Ram Sutar—the same artist behind the Statue of Unity—this is now the tallest Ram statue anywhere.

Why does it matter?

The mutt, founded way back in 1475, is a spiritual hub for the Gaud Saraswat Brahmin community and has deep cultural roots.
This unveiling isn't just about a statue—it's part of a centuries-old tradition, with celebrations running till December 7.
Expect big crowds (up to 10,000 visitors daily) and top leaders like Goa's Governor and Chief Minister joining in.
