PM Modi visited 23 countries in 2025 costing nearly ₹187cr
In 2025, PM Modi visited 23 countries, including the US UK France, China, and Japan, at nearly ₹187 crore to the government.
Some of the major overseas visits included France (₹25.6 crore), Brazil (₹17.7 crore), and the US (₹16.5 crore).
The Ministry of External Affairs shared these details in Parliament.
India secures 316 MOUs, $381.8bn FDI
Since July 2021, these trips helped India sign 316 MOUs and India received $381.8 billion in foreign direct investment between April 2021 and December 2025.
For 2026, ₹74.58 crore has already been spent on foreign trips overall, including visits to Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand this July.
Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita summed it up: high-level engagements by the prime minister help strengthen India's bilateral, regional and global partnerships across sectors such as trade, investment, technology, innovation, defense, energy and resilient supply chains.
