Investigation

Police suspect local gang involvement

The police suspect that the shooting may be connected to local gang activity and a possible property dispute with Singh's in-laws. The attackers had entered Singh's house under the guise of inquiring about the registration certificate of his newly purchased luxury car. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Vishaljit Singh said they initiated an investigation into the motive behind this crime, as well as information about the assailants. Singh had returned from the United States about a month ago.
