Heads up, if you're following the BRICS Summit in New Delhi this Saturday, expect some wet weather.
The India Meteorological Department says rain is likely both morning and afternoon, with thunderstorms and lightning likely in the morning and cooler temperatures (24 Celsius to 32 Celsius) possibly slowing things down for world leaders expected to attend.
India Meteorological Department warns waterlogging risk
Delhi's stormy forecast is part of a bigger monsoon pattern.
Heavy rain is also set for Mumbai, Konkan, Goa, Marathwada, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and even Assam and Meghalaya.
The India Meteorological Department has warned that heavy rain in vulnerable areas could lead to waterlogging, inundation and disruption to road and rail traffic.
