Ranchi students protest after Jharkhand High Court stays CGL recruitment
On Friday, Ranchi saw major student protests after the Jharkhand High Court put the CGL recruitment exam on hold and stayed some notifications canceling appointments through the 11th and 13th JPSC examinations besides the JSSC-CGL.
Organized by the JPSC-JSSC Reforms Manch, students gathered at Albert Ekka Chowk, accusing the state government of letting job seekers down and even trying to burn effigies of Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

The unrest spread to other places like Hazaribag and Giridih, where clashes broke out between students and JMM workers.
