Red Fort blast: Police detain cleric, teacher, and son in probe

India

After the suicide bombing near Delhi's Red Fort that killed several people, police have detained a mosque cleric, his 18-year-old son, and a madrasa teacher.
The bomber, Umar-un-Nabi, reportedly hid near their Sohna mosque after fleeing his university at the end of October.

What's happening with the investigation?

The three men were picked up on November 18 for suspected links to Nabi.
Police seized the mosque's video recorder after noticing missing CCTV footage—possibly deleted or lost due to technical issues.
Officers are also collecting Aadhaar details from madrasa students as part of their probe.
No charges have been filed yet, but the National Investigation Agency might get involved soon as police work to track Nabi's movements and find any accomplices.
