Delhi Police are digging deeper into the recent Red Fort blast that claimed 12 lives.
They've just detained Amit, a car dealer from Faridabad, for allegedly facilitating the sale of the Hyundai i20 used in the attack.
Now, investigators are tracing how the car ended up with Dr. Umar Nabi, who's believed to have driven it during the incident.

Police launch checks at 2nd-hand car dealerships

To prevent anything like this from happening again, police across Delhi (with help from Haryana and UP) have kicked off strict checks at second-hand car dealerships.
Dealers now have to carefully verify buyers' IDs and flag any shady deals right away—no shortcuts allowed.
The hope is that tighter controls will help stop vehicles from falling into the wrong hands in future.
