School van flips at Soolakkarai on Sattur-Virudhunagar highway injuring 6

A van carrying schoolchildren flipped over on the Sattur-Virudhunagar highway at Soolakkarai on Thursday.
The accident happened when the driver lost control and hit concrete blocks at a flyover construction site.
Six children aged up to 14 were hurt and taken to Virudhunagar Government Medical College Hospital. Two needed extra care at Government Rajaji Hospital.
Police search for driver Palaneeswaran
The 26-year-old driver, Palaneeswaran, ran off right after the crash and police are now searching for him.
