Tamil Nadu crowdsources public ideas to strengthen state finances

Tamil Nadu is crowdsourcing ideas to help improve the state's finances and become more self-reliant.
After its new Revenue Augmentation Committee, led by economist Montek Singh Ahluwalia, met on July 31, the government launched a public consultation to find creative ways to increase tax and non-tax income.
