Tamil Nadu launches tiger search after 2 Gudalur forest deaths

Tamil Nadu has launched a search to capture a tiger after it killed two people in the Gudalur forest area.
The first attack happened on August 9, when M. Balakrishnan, 58, was killed near his home.
Despite using drones, forest officials couldn't find the tiger.
K. Ravikumar's killing triggers local protests
After a second fatal attack on August 21 took the life of K. Ravikumar, 51, locals protested and demanded quicker action from authorities.
The Forest Department has now set up cages and camera traps.
Residents are also condemning the Forest Department and the State Government for their inaction in capturing the tiger.
