Tea-seller takes kids to McDonald's, his story tears you up!

Happiness is relative. For some, it's about owning a Mercedes car, and for others, this tea-seller for example, it is about taking his kids to McDonald's for the first and only time. The Facebook page of 'Humans of Bombay' shared an incredible story of a tea-seller who managed to take his wife and children for a meal. The story has got over 2,000 shares, since the time of posting.

Tea-seller reminisces the happiest day of his life

When asked when was he the happiest, the unnamed tea-seller spoke about his McDonald's experience. He said one day he made more money than he does in a month, as there was an event in a nearby hotel. "After lunch everyone wanted chai. That day I made more money than I make in a month," the tea-seller was quoted by the page.

My kids thought I was their hero, said the tea-seller

"I took my wife and kids to McDonald's for the first time and bought the kids their own burgers with the toys in it. My kids looked at me like I was their hero! That's the happiest day of my life," he said.

His story touches hearts of Facebook users

The comments on the Humans of Bombay post exuded love. A user wrote, "Damn here when I think about it, going to McDonald's is a casual thing. Oh god, thank you for reminding me not to take things for granted. And for many people reading this, you may be their hero too." Here's hoping you take your kids to McDonald's more often.
