Telangana schools to run half-day classes starting March 15

Starting March 15, 2026, all schools in Telangana, government, private, and aided, will switch to a half-day routine because of the rising heat.
Classes will run from 8:00am to 12:30pm until April 23, with midday meals served before students head home.
If your school is an SSC exam center, expect classes from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on exam days instead.
When does summer break start?
Summer break kicks off on April 24 and runs through June 11, so you'll get a solid break before classes resume on June 12.
