Thane balcony collapse: All 30 trapped residents rescued safely

Late Saturday night in Thane's Diva area, a balcony of a two-storey chawl at Savalaram Smriti Chawl suddenly collapsed, trapping 30 people.
Thanks to a quick response from disaster management teams, police, and fire services, everyone was rescued without injuries.

Building evacuated for safety

The chawl—home to about 50-55 people—was declared unsafe right after the incident.
As Yasin Tadvi from the disaster management cell explained, officials evacuated the entire building to keep everyone out of harm's way.
