Tharoor responds to Trump's meeting with Pakistan army chief
Congress leader Shashi Tharoor had a witty take on Donald Trump's private White House lunch with Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir, commenting, "I hope the food was good and he gets some food for thought."
Tharoor also called on the US to remind Pakistan not to support terrorism or give safe haven to those targeting India.

Tharoor's remarks on Pakistan's history of harboring terrorists
Tharoor pointed out that Pakistan has a history of harboring terrorists—reminding everyone about Osama bin Laden being found near a military base.
He said this is something the US shouldn't forget or forgive.
Some US lawmakers also raised concerns about ongoing support for terrorism against India during talks with the Pakistani side.
