Tragic domestic incident in Jharkhand

In Mahuari village, Jharkhand, a 30-year-old man named Basant Bhuiyan allegedly murdered his wife, Itwariya, on Wednesday night.
The couple's ongoing fights about Basant's drinking reportedly turned violent during an argument, leading him to fatally attack her with an ax.
Police have seized the weapon from the scene.

Basant was arrested soon after the incident.
According to police in-charge Amit Kumar Dwivedi, their regular arguments over alcohol sadly ended in tragedy this time.
The investigation is ongoing as officers gather evidence and speak to witnesses to piece together what happened.
