Tragic incident: Mother and child found dead in Erode

A tragic case from Vellode, Erode district: Amaravathi, 28, is believed to have killed her one-and-a-half-year-old son Aathiran before taking her own life.

After searching the house at 3am Prasad found Amaravathi hanging from a ceiling fan. Neighbors rushed to help but she was declared dead at the hospital.
