'Trailer of our capabilities': Army Chief on 'Operation Sindoor'
India
After a deadly terror attack in Pahalgam that took 26 lives, the Indian Army launched "Operation Sindoor" on May 7.
In just 22 minutes, they hit nine terrorist targets across Pakistan and PoK using a coordinated mix of fighter jets, missiles, drones, and artillery.
The operation wrapped up with a ceasefire by May 10.
What the Army chief said
Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi described the mission as a "trusted orchestra" and called it just a "trailer" of what India's military can do if provoked again.
He made it clear that India takes both terror groups and their backers seriously—and is always ready to act swiftly when security is threatened.
