    Delhi: Two caught for stealing mobile phones in Metro

    What's the story

    In a shocking incident reported in the national capital, two people, including a juvenile, were caught for disguising as women and allegedly stealing mobile phones and other valuables from Metro commuters, police said on Thursday.

    The accused were nabbed after the Delhi Metro police received a complaint from a woman about the theft of her mobile phone.

    Here are the details.

    The police added that the woman said her phone was stolen by two women while commuting between Vishwavidyalaya to Rajiv Chowk stations.

    The accused, Satyam (22) and the juvenile, were caught after they were identified in footage recorded by CCTV cameras, DCP (Metro) Pankaj Singh said.

    It was found that the suspects were previously involved in more such cases, he said.
