Two injured in accidental firing at Patna government office

A security guard's gun accidentally went off at Patna's busy registry office in Chhajju Bagh on Friday morning, injuring two people.
The sudden mishap left staff and visitors shaken, especially since the office handles important tasks like property and marriage registrations.

Victims now stable

Both victims were taken to Patna Medical College and Hospital right away and are now stable.
The incident has sparked questions about how weapons are handled at public offices.
Police, led by City SP (Central) Diksha, are now investigating what went wrong with the security protocols to help prevent this from happening again.
