Two killed in separate accidents on Yamuna Expressway

India

Dense fog led to two deadly motorcycle crashes on the Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida early Tuesday.
Both accidents happened within a couple of hours, with poor visibility and high speeds playing a tragic role.
Police have filed cases for rash and negligent driving under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

What happened

First, 26-year-old Rohit from Aligarh lost his life around 7:30am after his bike collided with a bus while he was heading to work in Noida.
The bus driver left the scene, and police are tracing the details of the occupants of the bus and the car.
About an hour later, 30-year-old Gunjan Singh died when her husband Nahar Singh crashed their motorcycle into a car—again, fog made it hard to see ahead and they were going fast.
Nahar only had minor injuries.
There was also a third accident involving a double-decker bus hitting a truck, but thankfully no one was hurt there.
