Two teen-aged sisters were gang-raped by three men in Jharkhand's Palamau district on Tuesday. Though one of the victims has identified two accused, no arrests have been made so far. Increasing incidents of rape and mass violence in Jharkhand

Jharkhand is getting increasingly infamous for incidents of rape and mass violence. Three cases of mob violence in Jharkhand made national headlines in just the last week of June. Among them was the lynching of beef trader Asgar Ali by gaurakshaks near Bazartand area in Ramgarh district. A 25-year-old rape and murder accused was also publicly beaten to death soon after.
