Uber driver's 'murder' message goes viral—turns out, it was just a translation fail

India

An Uber ride in Delhi took a wild turn when Arnav Gupta got a message from his driver saying, "I am facing the threat of murder."
Turns out, it was just Google Translate messing up—the driver actually meant he was "in front of Mother Dairy," but the Hindi text got hilariously lost in translation.
Gupta's UK-based Uber app showed the alarming English version first, but checking the original message quickly cleared things up.

Social media had a field day

Once people heard about the mix-up, social media users responded with jokes and amusement.
While some were amused and others a bit freaked out, many agreed it's a reminder to double-check those auto-translated messages before panicking.
