UN map excludes Arunachal and Aksai Chin says Pema Khandu
Arunachal Pradesh's Chief Minister Pema Khandu is not happy with a new United Nations map that places Arunachal Pradesh and Aksai Chin outside India's borders.
He stressed, "India's borders are not defined by lines on a map alone; they are strengthened by the people who live, work and stand firm along them. Jai Hind! Jai Arunachal!"
The move has sparked worries about how India is represented internationally.
Siram and Pongte demand map correction
Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Bosiram Siram called the map a matter of serious concern and urged the central government to ask the United Nations for an immediate fix.
Legislative Assembly Speaker Tesam Pongte also backed this up, saying Arunachal is an integral part of India.
The issue has triggered strong reactions from both politicians and the public, with calls for accurate representation on global platforms.
