Unnao rape case survivor to challenge HC's bail decision

The survivor of the 2017 Unnao rape case is set to appeal the Delhi High Court's move to grant bail to ex-BJP leader Kuldeep Singh Sengar, whose life sentence was paused while his appeal is heard.
She's worried about her family's safety now that Sengar could be released, and plans to take her fight for justice all the way to the Supreme Court.

Survivor speaks out and next steps

After losing her security detail, the survivor called the court's decision "no less than 'kaal' (death)" for her family and announced plans for protest.
Even though Sengar got bail, he remains in jail for another case involving her father's death.
The court has told him not to come within five kilometers of her home—if he does, his bail gets canceled.
