UP inspector reassigned after allegedly assaulting Army officer

A police inspector in Lucknow has been reassigned after allegedly slapping and verbally abusing an Army Lieutenant Colonel near Telibagh crossing on June 22.
The officer, from the NCC Directorate Bihar and Jharkhand in Patna, filed a complaint, and now the case is being investigated for rash driving and breach of peace.
Army is following the investigation actively
The Indian Army is actively following the investigation—Surya Command confirmed they've checked CCTV footage, and police say action was taken right away.
Senior Army officials even met with Lucknow's Police Commissioner to push for a fair and speedy inquiry.
The investigation is still ongoing.
