UP teen accuses police officer of rape post-rescue
A 15-year-old girl from Budaun, Uttar Pradesh, has accused Sub-Inspector Hariom of molesting her on a train and raping her at Kaderchwok police station after she was rescued from an abduction in Tamil Nadu.
She says she was threatened and kept at the station for days before being moved to a girls' shelter.
Girl sold by grandmother; cop has been transferred
The girl was allegedly sold by her grandmother to a man named Muzakkir, who abducted her on June 9.
Police rescued her on June 21 and brought her home two days later. She shared her allegations with a magistrate on June 27; Muzakkir is still in custody.
Investigators say there are some differences in the girl's statements, and medical checks confirmed she's a minor.
SI Hariom has been transferred while the police continue their inquiry, promising all evidence will go to court.
