US embassy picks Blueair to fight Delhi's stubborn smog

India

The US Embassy in Delhi is stepping up its battle against the city's heavy air pollution by choosing Blueair air purifiers over big names like Dyson and Philips.
On November 18, they put out a call for 1,200 boxes of True HEPA Particle Filters for their Blueair 500 and 600 Series machines—hoping these will help staff breathe easier as smog levels stay high.

Why so many filters?

Each purifier uses three filters, so the embassy needs a lot to cover both offices and homes.
This isn't their first move—since 2015, they've been working to keep indoor air clean as Delhi's AQI keeps hitting hazardous levels (often above 400).
The embassy's ongoing efforts show just how tough it is to deal with the city's relentless pollution.
