Railway Seva looked into it and found that blocked drain holes in the AC system caused water to build up and leak into the coach during braking.
To fix things, they cleaned out the drip tray at New Delhi station, added washers for better drainage, and even ran a pre-monsoon maintenance check on all AC units to help prevent this from happening again.
